Here at The Rehab Coach we aim to deliver support from inital injury all the way through to your return to the field of play. Whether this be playing for your local football club or competing around the world at the highest level we can support you by providing you with 1-to-1 rehabilitation sessions focused on getting you back to your optimum.
Having played and worked in sport we have experienced first hand the lack of return to sport rehab services. The early management of an injury is well supported through the healthcare system however how many of those sessions actually prepare you for running at maximal speed for a race, or tackling your opposition? There is a severe lack of return to sport support and therapists getting you prepared for the demands of your sport. We want to plug the gap. We will take you through the early management of your rehab, regaining range of movement, progressing strength, introducing plyometric movements and sport specific movement patterns before focusing on that final 5-10% of sporting demands that you require to return to competition.
We also offer prehabilitation sessions - prevention sessions aimed at ridding those niggles and aches that lead to injury. We all know we should be doing them but finding the time around training isn't always a priority. Let us take the guess work out of it and deliver group sessions that are specific to your sporting demands, aimed at mobilising, strengthening and optimising the body in preparation for competition.
